Intro to EA Discussion Group
The Foundations of Effective Altruism Discussion Group is our flagship program that explores the question, “How can we do the most good?” We will introduce the core ideas in the Effective Altruism movement and discuss actionable ways to improve the world right now and in your career. We will cover several cause-areas from climate change to nuclear security to AI safety. See more details in the Spring 2024 application.
AI Safety Discussion Groups
A growing number of researchers are becoming concerned about the influence that advanced AI models could have on our future. To this effect, we are launching the AGI Safety Fundamentals program focused on the problem of aligning advanced AI with human values. Additionally, we are offering a technical Machine Learning Safety fellowship for those interested in conducting research in the field of AI Safety.
